First stage appearance in 1972, as an actor. For ten years he collaborated with other theatre companies and played leading roles from the classical repertoire.In 1982 he created the actors company "I Skini", (The Stage), and in 1987 its successor, "I nea SKINI" (THE new STAGE), at the Theatre Odou Kykladon (Kyklades St Theatre). He has received three Best Director Awards "Karolos Koun" (1987, 1997) and "Fotos Politis" (1997). Between 1989 and 1991 he founded and directed the Classical Drama Workshop. He first staged Sophocles' "Antigone" in the 1992 with the group of actors working at the workshop (Theatre Odou Kykladon).
